bali trip

it was supposed to be a family trip but in the end, only my sis and i went
so two of us ladies were set to have a week full of adventures!


as it was low season, hard rock hotel gave an unbelievably good offer!
and i must say, it is the coolest-looking hotel i've ever seen!
we got a room in the psychedelic tower (there were also rock, blues, etc.)



first agenda of the trip: white-water rafting!
the weather was clear and the water was calmer than i expected
kinda disappointed i didnt get trown out of the raft, ha!

yep, that's me and my parachute *grins*



also got to steer a speedboat to a nearby island
that was till i almost crashed into sampans and our guide had to take over
guess my driving license still has to wait..



my sis insisted that i was terrorising the turtle
the truth: i was urging it to go back into the water and escape the heat
i just thought it's rather slow and needed some encouragement



learning how to play a simple balinese gamelan
actually it made such beautiful sound that even if i hit it anyhow,
it would still produce a somewhat ethereal melody



and their naturally produced coffee beans... wahhh!!!
i've never been a huge fan of coffee but theirs was simply amazing!
to drink hot brew on top of the mountain.. what's starbucks, man?



yes, obviously shirls and cool weather are match made in heaven!!
ahhh.. if only spore could have 15deg, i'd be the happiest person


i think it was gwen who said to me while we were in switzerland,
"you can wave the camera in any direction, snap and still get postcard shot"
well, that is pretty true for bali as well...


i think it's so amazing to live surrounded by such glory
to see the intricate details of nature, every bit breathtaking
has man become blind? that he cant see the fingerprints behind it all?
or is there a voice deep within him, "there must be a sculptor!"


and the one who sculpts the sun over the sky,
is the one who scuplts my life within his hands


p.s. still, it's good to be back! =)
next time go heaven can enjoy all eternity! for now, to live is for Christ!
