the fresh stuff

today's a super fruitful day - for both my body and soul

physically, to say i'm well-fed is a total understatement
more like i'm eating almost non-stop! am gonna come back as one giant marshmallow
but who can resist fresh fish (caught just before it's fried) with super spicy sambal
or the homegrown strawberries from my mom's garden
maybe it's the cold mountain weather - it makes me hungry all the time!

likewise, the clear air also helps me refresh my mind and spirit
spent luxurious time immersing in the Word and, specifically, in the life of paul
it really is interesting to have a look inside the mind of a man so radically transformed
must had been frustrating to have the message he's so convicted of despised by many
yet his resoluteness was what helped spread the gospel beyond samaria to ends of the earth
i look at my life and think, man, there's still a whole load of things i need to work on
need more urgency in my life. need for God to open the right door.

okay, my mom's calling me upstairs for pre-supper snack (yep u read that right)
gotta have another run tomorrow morning or i'll really be giant marshmallow...
