i thought long and hard how to best write the entry on my brisbane days
decided that instead of blogging sequence of events (freedy'll do that anw)
i'd rather pen down my thoughts on what matters so much to me

i've always believed God has something special for young people
well, of course God loves everyone!
but there's something about young people - that passion and ready heart -
that God would never despise... instead he delights in them a great deal!

i could almost imagine His glee every time he uses a youth to do great things!
"what? u've got no experience, money or skills? then u're just perfect!"
then he goes heeheeheehee and goes on to defy all human logic or expectation

meeting hope mel & brisbane's youth further convicted me of this truth
God opened my spiritual eyes even wider to see how He sees

and on the 2nd night of ablaze camp, when everyone's singing:
i see a generation
rising up to take the place
with selfless faith...
the full impact just hit me hard there and then!
it's a reminder of what He once told me so clearly in may 2001:

all over the world, God's call resounds the same note,
"rise up, young people!! rise up!!!
live out your destiny in God!"

and it doesnt matter which continent you are from
for the final revival would not take place in a particular location
rather it'll be when this generation chooses to take its place in history!
bringing the momentum of His Kingdom to reach its climax:
the final welcome of the King

so as everyone in the room cried out for God that night, He listened n answered
He really poured His abundant presence and power on His people
and when people have met God, it's truly hard to live for anything less
than the very birthright that He has graciously given us

if you're from yHope, He'll use u to change spore and the entire world!
if you're from ablaze, He'll use u to change australia and the whole world!
if you're from any corner of the earth, even timbuktu, He can and will use you

so rise up, young people, all over the world!
the earth is your inheritance!
