my respite

why i love working at office when everyone else have left:

1. turning on my speakers (and their subwoofer) to their full effects
2. talking to God loudly, haha! like, "God, did u hear that joke? hilarious!!"
3. experimenting with various harmonising (okay, tenor wont do! try alto?)
4. snacking non-stop! i used to stay back 2 nites/wk and gained 5 kg in 2mths!
5. raiding the library or sermon collection - i'm like a kid in lollies store!

tonight's menu...
appetiser: 'clarify the win' mp3 interview with andy stanley (thanks, chris!)
main dish: 'call for decision' video sermon by bill hybels
dessert: 'to know your name' mp3 song from hillsong's saviour king

i was thinking about this line:
"arrested by your truth and righteousness..."

can't remember who it was who recently said,
this is the first time s/he saw the word 'arrest' being used in a positive way

sometimes Your truth becomes so clear not only as concept in my head
but also as a stir in my heart - that moment of illumination -
that it's impossible to walk away from that truth and continue living for lies

i've received loads of nuggets of wisdom tonight *burp*
