dads, friends & garbage

i went to sun svc some days ago and was blessed to catch a child dedication ceremony... parents brought their child to the altar, pledged to raise them in godly ways and were prayed over by ps dinah.. it's my first time seeing it
- and i realised our church is very fruitful, literally! =D

one last thing i realised...
thruout the dedication (and in all pics), it's the dads who carried the baby
why? there are few possible reasons for this:
dedication lasted quite long and dads had more strength to carry longer?
dads wanted to look good in the ceremony? heheh~ (no diaper involved!)

well, for me, it seems like a reminder of our father in heaven
the one who carries us when we are weak, teaches us to walk n run,
disciplines us when we're astray and watches over us all the time
i'm really happy for all the parents in our church and sincerely prayed that He'd use them to point the li'l ones to our heavenly dad =)
