stories.. stories.. stories.. just wrote a long post but blogger decided to play a practical joke n deleted everything.. rolled my eyes a while but this entry's too good to be missed so here i go again! just heard from my CG about many awesome stories taking place last week: in NE, a sis who received Jesus on tue was so excited, she also attended prayer meet on fri quiet but powerful sajc's steven brought 5 friends; he encouraged the grp: "if i can, u can too!" a west sec 1 said after his rededication: "it's been a long time since i last prayed!" aww.. yongle's NB went missing for 2mth but yongle persevered n finally the NB came back last week whitley o-level batch brought lower sec students to Christ! who says grads can't outreach? hwa chong took 5 nexus rows (abt 30 ppl)! whole grp's mobilised - kudos to sam+xiang! cos of jinqi+YK's effort, sji quadrapled from 1 to 5 within 2 weeks! beyond cool! and many, many other stories.. am truly proud to serve alongside u guys - wholehearted, spirit-filled, crazy for Jesus!! how fulfilling is it to be fishers of men? try bringing a friend to know Jesus and help him/her grow in Christ the first time s/he says grace, our stomach would melt n turn warm within the instant s/he asks "where can i get a bible?", we could almost hear angels singing the moment sh/e is baptised in holy spirit, we'd feel like crying buckets worth it. what has more worth than this. all worth it. toil. sweat. prayer. all worth it. let's pray together for closets episode 2! i'm with u guys in spirit and in prayer!! gasp. i have not written my to-bring list. nor bought int'l electric plug. nor got toilettries to last half a month. nor printed my italian phrasebook. nor prepared my workshop notes. die. yet still have time to re-do this entry. while stuck to ravi's discourse. ha-ha. listenin -- paradise regained by ravi zacharias three areas of sin: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. sin is not just the breaking of an abstract law. sin is the violation of a Person - the Person of God. and unless we understand this, we will never see sin in its personal relationship to God Himself. when God gives the law, it is not as though He is looking to see who is going to be good in relation to the law or who is going to be bad in relation to the law rather, who is going to recognise God for who He is - and who isn't.
