not out of the ordinary, not at all... not that i have a need of recounting the details of my everyday life but yesterday was such a fruitful day that i have to somehow note them down as thanksgiving... woke up earlier than i meant to and spent time with God way longer than i planned to - i cant help it! the more i worship, the deeper God brought me; it didnt feel like three hours at all! zep 3:17 kept ringing in my head; wished i could turn it into song.. or i can just ask yaoguo to do so =) i know that you rejoice over me with dancing... then went to MPH to check out the new arrivals.. found a super interesting book and without realising it, stood for two hours reading till my legs ached.. it's amazing what some people can write! i discover that you took delight in creating man in your likeness... had a late lunch with claramae! she's also busy with her own NUS ministry so it's great to finally ketchup with her over mrs fields' sandwich and tea... swapped the going-ons in our lives and i'm just so glad God has put such dears in my life... and her birthday's coming hohoho! i see you moving in the lives of your people... met gwen n the gang at esplanade to watch A Twist of Fate.. it's hilarous! or rather adrian pang is! and when laura michelle kelly sang, i often got goosebump! ooh our ywam should see it next time! i hear you singing all around me... finale of the day was daniel cheah's birthday dinner.. ate n ate and yack n yack.. then i told them Borders had a big sale - buy 5 books at 35% discount - and the offer's ending that very night! dennis and i were like, "we must go!!!!" so we took bus 36 from suntec.. continued yacking on the bus till some of us realised we're on ECP - on our way to changi!! and we tried to trick gideon.. daniel: "gideon, keep a lookout.. tell us when u see borders" gideon: "oh, okay!" i almost snorted into my shawl! how could he believe this bunch of giggling and devious people!! anyway we finally reached Borders at 10.55pm and i had 5 mins to go on a shopping rampage! i literally dashed from shelf to shelf! and the sale saved me about $30, hurray! thank u God! i find you lurking behind the ordinary things of life... you are the God of miracles and you are the God of my everyday life - thus... my every day can be a miracle if only i open my eyes to notice you! listenin -- at the foot of the cross by kathryn scott
