today's rain doesn't splatter; more like each drop lightly and graciously drifting to rest on earth... if sunshine means 'go out and do', rain means 'stay in and think'... just finished a book over the weekend that reminded me of my dad whom i don't get to see often... i suppose a large part of who we are today is shaped by the father figure in our lives... my dad's given a lot to our family - and i really think the best gift i can give him is not merely the comforts for old age but a life in Jesus... so i'm keeping him in prayer... we actually have spiritual conversations whenever i see him but each ends up in an animated, rather vehement, contention and my mom giving ultimatum, "one more word of this, i'm walking out of dinner!" but when she's out of earshot, we'd pick up where we left off hahaha... well, i'll just continue asking God to move in his heart... won't rest till he receives the greatest gift... after all, he's a great dad with a great sense of humour - nitwit, oddment, blubber, tweak, yeah, something like that! =D

anyway, i tried typing rain in my media player and 31 songs turned up! but my fave's still...
